The year is 2020. As humanity writes the last sentence on the last page of this 200 year elemental chapter, we find ourselves encountering the themes of pestilence, isolation, and environmental degradation. But we may look to our ancient past and distant space for solace. From stars we pull inspiration from the abyss.

These 11 ambient litanies were written not only as journal and record of our journey through the shadow birth canal of 2020, but as a candle in and through its dark corridors. Umbral Passage conjures a domain of sound paradoxically primal and stellar, brooding and serene. The 1 hour and 35 minutes of audio environments presented here are perfectly suited for deep listening, meditation, concentration, ponder, reflection or ceremony.
